keyboard for gaming

I know the best mouse would have to be the MS intellimouse explorer 3, but what would be a good keyboard to use? I don't want a gaming-pad, just a normal keyboard that works pretty well with gaming (I use the keypad for controls if that helps any).

Any of the modern Microsoft /Logitech keyboards (corded not cordless) are fine for gaming,I use an old Logitech iTouch keyboard that has both USB and PS2 ports. A gaming keyboard is really a personal thing so try to get the feel of some in the stores.

Thanks mem, though the only stores close by are dixons and game, their keyboards are all boxed, so I may take a trip to PC world sometime.

Cool, but for me and FPS games, needs one more set of keys IMO, 3x5 not 2x5.

I use a dell keyboard, one of the newer black ones. Best keyboard i have ever used.

neilm I had the spending urge so I`ve just ordered a
Logitech® Internet Navigator Keyboard Special Edition in black,I`ll let you know what`s like in gaming 😉.
