Keyboard Connection Not Working

I'm upgrading a bunch of 486's. I swapped out a mobo and now the keyboard isn't responding. I tried 3 different keyboards so I know that's not the issue.

Everything was fine when the mobo was in another system. The keyboard responded when I first booted the system with only RAM, CPU and video card on the board.

I installed 2 small hard drives and booted ... no keyboard. I'm on a deadline and time is running out. Does anyone have any ideas?

I set up the board outside the case with just the vid card, RAM and CPU. Keyboard works!
I'm going to re-assemble and see what happens. (I may meet my deadline yet!)

Problem solved. I must have put the mobo in wrong the first time. Something was making contact that shouldn't have (or vice versa). At any rate, I'm back on track. 😀
