Searched and couldn't find a particular thread in response to this link. If there is one open, my apologies, link and close this thread.

But, all I have to say to this guy is, Really?

Do people really believe this? Does anyone think that everyone who thinks if they just worked harder, they can be apart of the 1%? So who would be left to provide services to the 1% if everyone made it to the top?

This is just O'Leary's schtick; he's a windbag that's been on Canadian television for a few years now talking exactly this kind of nonsense. You learn to tune him out.

Some further info: O'Leary struck it rich a decade or so ago by selling an IT company he built for a billion-plus. He's one of those guys who's taken the hard work and intelligence of others plus the healthy dollop of luck a payout like that takes and attributed it all to his pure personal genius.

Shark Tank is one of my favorite shows, but there's a reason why he's cast as the villain on that show (or hero, if you're a typical shithead conservative). If you want to see what a man with no soul looks like, look no further than Kevin O'Leary. He makes Gordon Gecko shake his head.

Only listened to the first 20 seconds. He might be a nice guy in real life, but he sounds really terrible. Seeing a friend with a nice car gives you something to aspire to. Seeing someone with a billion times your net worth is more likely to drive thoughts of kidnapping that person. Business men visiting Mexico are told to dress in shabby clothes and use regular transportation just to avoid being kidnapped or robbed.
