I like mayo and catsup on my fries. Good combo.
I disagree. Chicago dog has real fresh tomatoes. Tomatoes > ketchup

Because no one ever eats foods they ate when they are 5...
I want to know who started this "ketchup is for kids" nonsense. Slathering massive amounts of ketchup on everything is for kids, using it judiciously is fine. I love french fries with ketchup and sometimes a little hot sauce (tabasco) as well.
I like ketchup.
I will also always eat ketchup on my hotdogs. Unless it's a Packo's dog, then I get Packo's sauce.
Take that Chicago. You are so wrong about that.
You are also wrong about pizza.![]()

that's not just a Chicago thing. Mustard is designed to accompany sausages. Not ketchup. It's food law.
Chicago is just doing its part to inform you heathens that you are all wrong, in a rather direct manner!
(agree with the pizza--while I like a stuffed or deep dish from time to time, NY style is vastly superior)
I found a thin crust place I love, to the point where 3 times out of 4, I'd pick it over Lous or Ginos or any other deep dish place .. I dont think its NY style (its not greasy and foldable). I dunno what city/region the style came from, but its uber delicious.

I guess it is the Wauconda, IL style of pizza 🙂
When I was still living in Chicago, there was a rather good NY-style place called, ironically enough: Chi-town Pizza. It was under the Addison stop next to Wrigley field. It was great: about $2-3/ slice.
They closed up and the property was converted into yet another Cub-ticket-selling scam shop owned by the Cubs. ...Remember the scandal where the Cubs were buying up significant amounts of their own general sale tickets, then selling them through brokers at ridiculous markups? Yeah...pretty sure they are still doing it.
Last I recall, there was another Chi-Town pizza somewhere in Old Town. Don't remember which streets, but it was definitely Old Town. That was the only NY style that I knew of in the city. :\
whats hp sauce?
ive seen this mentioned a few time before
I don't like it, but for some reason I have to have it on In N Out fries. That's the only thing I like it on.
