I want to know who started this "ketchup is for kids" nonsense. Slathering massive amounts of ketchup on everything is for kids, using it judiciously is fine. I love french fries with ketchup and sometimes a little hot sauce (tabasco) as well.
 
I actually remember the exact moment I thought ketchup was shit, and I think I was 4, maybe just turning 5, so yeah ElFenix nailed it.
 
I don't like it, but for some reason I have to have it on In N Out fries. That's the only thing I like it on.
 
Ketchup + hotsauce on my fried taters. If you try to take that from me I will go down shooting.

*note I don't own a gun, but I will aim my pointer finger at you and cock my thumb like I'm shooting a six shooter while I make pew pew noises.
 
Ketchup is just tomato with a whole lot of sugar. Disgusting stuff. The only acceptable use is for French fries and onion rings if you have no alternatives.

Nothing grosses me out more than a person that covers their scrambled eggs and hash browns at breakfast with ketchup. D::'(

I disagree. Chicago dog has real fresh tomatoes. Tomatoes > ketchup
 
Ketchup can make most foods taste good, I personally would prefer to use hot sauce instead in most cases as it gives me a better feeling inside.
