conservatives call clinton weak, by their own standards bush is practically a traitor.

I love it...the liberal answer for everything..."dump more money on it and make it all better." I hear it works well on putting out fires too...you may want to try it some time.

I guess Bush is a liberal, then, for dumping money onto creating the DHS.

That's not an attack.

That's the truth.

...as was what the VP said about Kerry yesterday; see how that works? One man's truth is another man's attack...

One man is in office having a direct effect on our nation's policies, one man is not.

Kerry doesn't vote in his role as Senator?

Probably not...actually

If you measure liberalism by how much government spends--Bush must be dropping acid on Height-Ashbury right now.

a bold, progressive internationalism
i think bold and internationalism are antonyms, since we can count on opposition to absolutely every action and inaction from certain foreign governments.

Which is not? The VP?

VP does nearly nothing.

Cheney is essentially the President. He is the puppet-master. Just look at GW requiring him to be present when he goes in front of the 9-11 commission.

Hehe - yeah, what's his vote attendance lately?

Oh, and isn't it wonderful to hear kerry trying to act tough in his monotone voice? I hear he put about 1000 people to sleep in DesMoines the other day at a campaign stop.:p A measely 1000(maybe 1500 tops) in a state that "launched" him:p Hell, we had 200-250 people attend a COUNTY campaign meeting(for Bush-Cheney) tonight in DesMoines and all we got to do is hear from a couple regional campaign staffers.:p

Re: the medals? That was not the truth. That was purely an attack.

The only thing at issue is vocabulary: medal vs. ribbon

I guess you haven't seen the 1971 clip of Kerry where he said he threw hit medals, 5, 6, 8 or 9 of them...every year, the story changes...that's the point. Therefore, how do we know what the "truth" is when it changes every 5 minutes and from issue area to issue area? Face it, your poster-boy is a liar.

Exactly; Moreover, as Dan asserts, it is "expected" that Kerry will attack [see his post above]...funny how that works.

So is our President. Not much of a choice this November when it comes to voting for an honest man to lead our country.

Yes, he threw multiple ribbons and medals. The ribbons were his own and the medals were those of other veterans. Kerry threw the medals over the fence after the ceremony but while a few photographers were still there.

He hasn't lied at all.

You people are so desperate to find fault in the simplest of things. Your attacks on Richard Clarke failed and the attacks on Kerry will fail.

Repeat after me John. Kerry was at a rally where people do this sort of thing. Cheney was supposed to talk about policy (as the University Pres. agreed to) and ended up just ragging on Kerry. They are two very different things. Our foreign policy, at this time, has basically nothing to do with John Kerry as John Kerry is not in the party in power.

Take off the blinders and accept that what Cheney did was dirty politics. Kerry's speech was a rally for his candidacy. They are two very different things.

You conservatives trying to spin the Kerry medal throwing into an attack on his integrity are pathetic.
Kerry went to Vietnam and served our country honorably. Your coward Bush did nothing of the sort, he hid from the war and used his daddy's connections to escape service. He got a DUI and was charged with possession of cocaine. But all these things were in the past, and are IMHO irrelevant to the present day, much like these issues you are bringing up with Kerry.
Let's try something new here, let's debate about the issues. Is that so hard Republicans? Americans don't give a crap about all these character assassinations your party is throwing out there. For evidence just look at the California governor election. Charges of sexual misconduct and inapporpriate behavior towards women were brought against Arnold, but in the end nobody cared because those issues have nothing to do with how a person will run in office.
I guess its tough knowing that Kerry will win this election, Bush is done for and you know it.

Watch the 1971 video interview...said he threw HIS medals...more than just the purple hearts and stars...ALL of his medals and was damn proud of it...he changes his story every day, so perhaps tomorrow he will sing the same tune he sung before.

once again WHO CARES? This is such a non-issue to voters, your republicans don't realize that this kind of smearing and slander only works against your party. Let's talk about the real issues for once, or are you too afraid galt? Oh I forgot, all you can do is character assassinations.

It is a trend with him, thus it is important...first it was "I voted for it....before I voted against it..."...then the SUV's...the Medals...Patriot Act...the list goes on and on...he lies everytime he opens his mouth...starting to miss Dean. At least he didn't lie when he was screaming like a flaming idiot.
