I salute you John Kerry for going to Vietnam. Although you could have had your dad pull the strings (cough.. Bush) that would have gotten you out the war you decided to go and fight for this great country. Now we need Kerry more then ever as there is a greater danger that threatens our American freedoms. That would be George Bush. If he has his way Mr. Bush WILL take away 1st amendment rights to free speech. If Bush has his way the religious nuts aka.. the taliban will rule Congress. It's amazing.. Iraq is on the verge of gaining the freedoms that we have enjoyed for so many years, while in America the Bush administration is it away from us. My father fought in the Korean war for the freedoms that we now enjoy. Bush is a coward and a disgrace.

Cooperate interests have over run both political party's, the good of the stock-market is foremost in the party's minds, beyond the wellbeing and quality of life of it's people. Ralph Nader has been serving this country to fight against economic tyrants that have murdered more men women and children than all of the foreign US wars combined. Although he could have ridden his charisma and legal talent into just about any office as a cooperate whore, he didn't. This country is more at the mercy of big-money donations to the top two party's than ever, and if either bush or Kerry have their way our founding principles of providing for the general welfare will be destroyed. As it is cooperations run congress. It's amazing that our men die to bring freedom to other lands, only to enslave the world with global cooperate interests. My ancestors fought in the revolutionary war, helping over throw the globalization tax-cuts that caused the Boston tea party, for the freedom from big cooperations that we are all now subject to the rule of. The political party's are just cowards and disgraces.

According to Kerry's own testimony , he was a witness to countless war crimes while they were being committed. A "true American hero" would would have attempted to stop these atrocities while they were being committed and/or aided in the prosecution of those committed those atrocities. Kerry did neither.

I would have said the same thing had a Bush supporter said that not voting for Bush makes you a traitor. I may disagree with your POV, might even offer a respectful rebuttal in an effort to change your mind and/or influence your opinion, but I honor your right to make your own decision in good conscience when the time comes. Calling someone a traitor for prefering candidate A over candidate B is an absolute abomination, IMHO.

He's not Rambo. He is one person who served for his country and in my opinion that is a true hero.

Not reporting a war crime as an officer makes him a criminal...it was his duty to report it. Is there any record that he reported it while in the Navy?
