well we went to club Naked the first night, thinking it might be a strip club or something, but later found out it was a gay bar that night. then we went to this place that looks like an old church or something, and in the lower area its 18 and older, and upstarirs its 21 and older.
the next night i forget the name of the first place we went, but it ended up being gay night there too. then we went to Pool Junkies, i think that was the name.
all in all its just a dead city as far as night life, which is what we were looking for at that time.
The church looking place is probably what used to be called "The Bay", but I think it's called something else now.
Shoulda hit Area 51 if you're into the dance club stuff.
Club Naked was The Bay.
Area 51 is cool, as is Port O Call.
If you go to Park City, Harry O's is where it's at.
I haven't decided yet.
Although, it does depend on who the Republicans trot out. If I voted, I would never vote strictly by party.
If our country can ever get over racism, perhaps Barack Obama.... although I think he may be more likely for 2012 or 2016.
I predict that Obama will be the first black president (though I had hoped it would have been Powell). He has such an enthusiastic following as it is.

What you said was not a matter of opinion (Bush, in fact, was winning before the recount, which he didn't cause), it's a matter of fact and history. I can see where you are coming from if I were to challenging your opinions, but I wasn't. Yes, lets not let facts get in the way of a discussion.

You were right on the recount in Florida. The state called for the recount. Out of curiosity, do you happen to know how close a vote must be for a state to call a recount? Also, if it is within this threshold is it manditory for a state to hold a recount or must officials within the state call for it? I only ask because I really don't want to wait for a recount if Ohio is close.
Up to the state to decide.
Ohio really isn't all that close, 537 votes is close, 130K is not.

It depends on each state. for Ohio, any group of 5 voters can demand a recount, but for Ohio to perform a manditory recount, the vote must be .25% or less of a difference.

IIRC it's 0.25% for Ohio.

I think it varies by state, last night they said it was .025% in Ohio, and it wasn't that close. I don't think it's going to matter, there are too many votes for Bush to force an auto recount, and since Kerry conceded, he won't call for one.
edit: it may be .25%, was a late night, for many I'm sure.
CNN is "funny", even at this hour, they still won't concede Ohio to Bush (Showing 254 to 252) - when it is apparent that it's mathematical impossible for Kerry to win the state.
I thought here in the States, the network would be free of political influences. Other network did the same, but CNN is the worst.

I hope that both sides can come up with better candidates than they did the last 2 elections, if Bush and Kerry are as good as it gets then there isn't much reason to vote anyway.
So by conceding the state to Bush is NOT a political influence? I think they are not influenced by politics by NOT conceding the state untill all votes are tallied.

IMO Kerry is showing a lot of dignity and respect in his concession speech. There's an important lesson there for all of us.
