Kenwood car stereo

what do poeple think about the kenwood vz the kenwood exclon. im thinking about getting a new stereo and was looking at the kdc-x817, anyone have this unit. whats another headunit of similar quality looks or features for around the same price(prefer a lower cost one). provide input on this one and or the one you currently have and if you would reccomend it.

I have the X815, the 817's older brother (Last years model) and it's definitely a keeper. Had it for a year and it still never fails to amaze me in terms of features and sound quality. I put a review on Carreview.com, you might want to check it out as well.

I have the Kenwood's KCD-MP8017 and Z828 MP3 players.
The Z828 has faster access times.

I recommend the Alpine 7878, but it is not out yet.
