I almost got Kennesaw City confused with Chickasaw County -- you know, where the Duke Boys were always gettin' in a spot of trouble. Then they had to jump the General Lee across a drainage ditch or whatever. And then Cooter and Skeeter and Boss Hog had to chase 'em down. But I digress... I especially like how Kennesaw officials have a long and inspired tradition of forcing people to do things:
Actually, the setting for the "Dukes of Hazzard" has been the subject of some debate. There is no "Hazzard County" per se. Some observers of the TV show place this fictional county in Georgia near Conyers county.

Viewers often confuse the show's setting with Hazard, (Perry county) Kentucky, which is situated in the Southeastern Kentucky coalfield.
I think it actually was filmed in and around Covington, GA for the first few eps and then in CA.

Uncle Jesse lived down the road from me. j/k, I'm a yankee trapped in this hell hole they call the south. :)

Guns and God... for everyone... whether you like it or not. Fvcking inbred backwater hicks.
No, we don't share the belief that everyone should be forced to carry deadly weapons and believe in some imaginary thing that somehow created the universe after the earth existed. Why are they bigoted against my beliefs so much that they feel the need to intimidate me for them?

Please differentiate between city dwelling Southerners (like myself... Austin rules!!) and the sheep shagging, "my pa is also my gran daddy", mullet sporting assholes who live in towns named after brands of ammunition.

Your not a Southerner, your a Texan.

Well assuming you come from here.

Texas was the greatest Mexican state, the greatest Confederate state, and is definately the best state in the Union.

Texas > all other states.

We are more American than the rest of America.

Viva Tejas!!!

That being said the God and Guns thing sounds good to me living in Corpus Christi, Tx.

The stars at night are big and bright...(Clap) (Clap) (Clap)

All I can say is I'm glad we had a Texan in the white house when 9-11 happened. A little better response then the good old boy from Arkansas when the first WTC bombing occured.

I was glad and proud we had a Texan in office when we went after Afghanistan, after giving them every opportunity to give up the Taliban and after they attacked us, that is the people they were harboring. I was ashamed that a Texan was in the White House when he sent our troops to go die for dubious reasons in Iraq.

House across the street from me flies a huge Confederate Flag on a 30 ft Flag pole in the front yard. There are houses and some that are just shacks all around too and every one of them has the Confederate Flag on or in the back window of their Pick Up trucks.
