OK, but SO WHAT if it's "disrespectful" for American history?... It's a Scottish company that makes it, fair game... Last time I checked, the U.S. was not exactly stellar on respecting other peoples' and countries' history, be it in books, video games, TV shows or Hollywood productions.

We're not saying it's illegal to make these games. We're saying we feel it's a very tasteless act, and we can see why JFK's brother would be very, very pissed about someone profitting off of this. Most of us are not advocating that it should be illegal to make these games, just that it is very disrepectful and rude to. Maybe you should pull your head out of your arse?

Unless you get to load the ovens & drop the Zyklon B Castle Wolfenstein is not a Holocaust simulator.
Nobody is say it's illegal, & nobody is saying it should be.
They have said that it is tasteless, just as a simulation of the Holocaust or the WTC attacks would be.
Would you find it offensive if someone released a game allowing you to pilot the hijacked airliners (including as a special bonus fighting off unruly passengers with your box knife)?
Unfortunately freedom means you occasionally have to tolerate things you find offensive, & this is one of them. If you don't find it offensive you may have other problems.
