When Flynn told the Russian ambassador that Trump would lift sanctions, he was undoubtedly doing exactly what Trump wanted him to do. Which is why Trump didn't fire him when he found out last month. Didn't fire him until the general public found out, at which point he became a political liability.

Alternative facts, Bowling Green Massacre, selling Ivanka's clothing line on Fox, "Trump has full confidence in Flynn" an hour before he gets fired, and all kinds of other things suggesting that she doesn't even know what is going on in the Whitehouse. Doesn't matter how loyal she is, whatever good things she did for him in the campaign, or how much he personally likes her. If she continues to act like a clown on public airwaves, he'll have to eventually get rid of her.

That's one thing that is still free to us. The ability to question and oppose when our "so called" leaders won't. The entire GOP has tucked tail and turned a blind eye to any of this. They aren't doing a damned thing. At least we still have independent thinking institutions still in place that are trying to keep things in check. Like with most criticisms of him, trump simply ignores it. Narcissists are incapable of taking criticism, it simply doesn't register with them. I bet flynns outing was not of trumps doing but of his handlers. Just today trump was singing praises of him and bashing the media for his resignation.
