I have just rebuilt my HTPC which is connected to my HDTV. I have a custom resolution set and I used it before without issue. The rebuild was a processor/motherboard swap, not a video card swap or anything else.
It is going to something like 800x648 I believe (not even an option in my display settings). This happens after setting it to 1152x648 and rebooting. Any ideas on why it is changing to that?
Could some kind of a script or something be run to tell it to check and see what resolution it is on at startup and fix it if it is wrong?
It also screws up my icons. I have them set in a block in a certain way and that is lost. It is EXTREMELY frustrating. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!!
