Keep your eyes on the road, your hands upon the wheel...Where are YOUR hands?

Thanks for that fine bit of advice Jim!
Now.

When driving where do you place your hands on the wheel?

Myself, I usually drive with my left hand somewhere between the 1:00 and 1:30 position.

I drive a standard trans.

Where do YOU keep YOUR hands?

Do you usually use both hands, or just one?

Auto or stick?

"Let it ROLLLLLLLLL, allnight long..."

Well, I'm still driving on my permit (road test in a month w00t). I drive at 2-3 and 10-11 usually, and with two hands.

All kinds of ways. Usually my left on 12 and my right hand on the shifter (its an auto, but I find it comfortable). Sometimes I'll cross my arms, and my right will be at 11 and my left on 1. Other times my right will be at 4,5 or 6...

usually left hand at 7 or 10 o'clock

sometimes right hand at 4 or so..

sometimes both on the wheel, 10 & 2 or so

my right arm around my biatch, my left arm directly in front at 12:00... like a true gangsta...

Actaully i normally drive with one hand moving the wheel at around the 6:00 position, when I need to make a U-turn I either palm it or use two hands for ease. I'm very relaxed, driving is one of my favorite things to do.

Usually my hands are at 9 and 3 on the wheel. a lot of the time though i rest my right hand on the passenger seat and just drive with my left. i don't know how i picked up that habit.

Word of advice, learn how to drive and turn with just your left and just your right. It comes in handy if you ever break/sprain your arm. My aunt slipped on ice and fractured her arm. Driving wasn't pleasant...

when i drive a automatic.

Left hand around 7-8. right hane in lap or cuillin round 5-6

same when i drive standard. cept right hand has to shift every now and then

Left arm propped on the door with hand about 10-11 o'clock...sometimes I rest my hand on top of the steering wheel...sometimes use my right hand but rarely...like to keep it free so I can gab on the phone, play with the radio, or some other distracting activity.

😉
