hey guys i have pacbell dsl service in LA and a dlink router/firewall .. now i am getting connection and i go search the web and all .. but when i use anything that needs the connection live .. like AIM, or MORE IMPORTANLY GAMES like CS or DOD i keep getting logged out .. i keep timing out after about 5 min (this is very volatile cause sometimes i get cutted at 1-2 min) .. but after when i try connecting it lets me .. WHAT THEHell is going on .. im running WIN XP PRO .. and i have two other computers a mac and another pc and it isn't doing this and they're both connected to the same dsl router...fellow techies please help
UPDATE .. DID EXTENSIVE TESTING WITH OTHER COMPs and both are doing the same thing .. i called PACBELL and they brushed me off .. hmm looks like it's my dsl or my router.. any more info would be much obliged .. thanks ahead of time
