Keep my iTouch or use my Touch Pro as a media player?

Hello,

I've been planning on getting a touch pro for a while. I just won an iTouch 8gb today. I need at least 16gb of storage, so I am thinking about exchanging it. I've been thinking and am not sure what to do. Here are my options:
1. Exchange ipod touch for 16gb and buy Touch Pro.
2. Exchange itouch for Touch Pro and buy 16gb memory card.

Has anyone used the media player? I really like Apple's interface but I hate carrying two pieces of electronics around.
