Keep losing posts to unknown keystrokes

I want to ask again if there is any way to prevent any keystroke action but hitting the post button from changing or switching me out of the post box I am writing in. I will be typing along and bam, my post is gone and I'm back in the thread or back at the thread page or elsewhere.

Is there some way I can stop this from happening. I really hate it when I spend a lot of time on a post and thonk it's gone.

I've had this happen at some times. Usually involves my cat stepping on some key and as I type it calls up a windows shortcut key or something.
