Keep it or change it now??

Hello ppl.
I hav recently bought my new pc (finally)
I don't wont to be arrogant i know that this is crap but i want to ask it anyway
I bought a new nice system and for gpu i bought fx5800
I told the store manager that i might wanted to change it with another card and pay the difference cause i didn't heard the best for this one to be honest.
I'm thinking for fx5900 ultra.
Do u think it worths to pay 200 or more euros NOW to buy it or keep this one and wait?
I'm asking this cause i hav the money know but i don't want to spend it on unessesary shit
I will upgrade on the next millenium and i want to know if fx5900 ultra will have posibilities to stand a little more in the future

If it was me I'd just keep it. The fx5800 performs about like a 9700 pro. The problem with it is the 128bit memory bus limits it, especially at high resolutions. Aside from that the card isn't really that bad. A fx5900 ultra will be somewhat better, but the improvement isn't worth 200 more, imo. You're better off just tucking that 200 away and using it later on when the fx5800 isn't fast enough.

the fact is that i wont hav the money later cauz im plannin some other stuff.
Do u think the tech specs of fx5900 ultra is just sh... and wont help in the near future??

To me, It would be a nice deal if you had had that card for a while, but seeing as you only got it recently, it's like paying way to much for an FX5900 Ultra from the beginning. I say wait.

I do mind to pay the money, but i paid a significant amount so far (sacrificed my own holidayz!!) and if fx5900 ultra will keep much longer than 5800 then im planning to change it now

I dont know what it costs in euros, but its 249.00 US dollars.
