Keep getting random restarts and error messages after fresh install..

I just reinstalled Windows XP Home on a ABit IS7, P4 2.6C, 1024 mb Ram, Radeon 9800 Pro and I get these weird error messages that close down programs like AOL IM, IE, and Winamp. What do I need to do? Is there something bad in the bios?

might be the problem, unless hyperthreading is disabled. XP Pro supports hyperthreading, but XP Home doesnt.

EDIT: Try disabling hyperthreading in the BIOS and see if it is stable.

Also check the RAM, run some ramtests. Sometimes the IS7 hates some kinds of RAM, it's pretty picky.
