Agree with CP that you should return the overclocked CPU to default for troubleshooting. Go into BIOS (save settings if possible, or simply note them down/photo screen) and select the LOAD DEFAULT SETTINGS option (save & exit/reboot).

ok, i loaded the default settings and the system is running...the lines flashing in and out sometimes (not to often)..

something i tried though, i tried to run MSI Kombustor Multi-GPU to test the video card but it froze after a point and then a message saying the display drivers are not responding and timed-out and was recovered or something to that effect.....then the program freezes but i can use my system other than that.

when i was running windows xp 64bit i didnt have this issue but now i'm running windows 7 32bit i am having this driver issue...i wonder why...

quick question, if i upgrade my video card to a Radeon HD 5770 1GB or the Radeon HD 4870 1GB will the CORSAIR 650TX 650W still be good enough to push my system?

I would hold off adding the other 2 gigs right now till you have everything else working. You don't want to deal with 4 sticks over 2 right now if you don't have to.
