Keep geting hammered with pop-ups...

I just ran adaware and it said i was clean.. but i keep geting random pop up's.. ever couple of minutes.. I havent downloaded anything recently and have no clue what is going on... and can someone explain to me how the hell i am stop those super annoying "Netsend" messages that i get every 4 seconds.. thanks guys and gals

and while i was typing this post i got around 8!! pop-ups ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

Spyware is different from pop-ups. You need a pop-up blocker dude.

Disable the "messenger" service .. that'll stop those netsend pop ups

Yup, the netsend messages are way different than popups. Adaware and popup stoppers aren't going to get it. The netsend msgs are the newest form of spam. You've got to disable the messenger service (which is not the same as MSN/Windows Messenger...) Search around AT/TS for already detailed instructions on how to do it.

Meaya pop-up ad filter, Mozillia or Pop-up kill (something like that) are all good pop-up killers or you can click the little X in the upper right hand corrnor.
