Keep 2 laptops in sync

Hello folks,

I have 2 laptops that I use alternatively and need to keep the data on both laptops in sync. I backup my data once a week, so I could sync backed up data with the laptop but I am looking for more on the go option.

None of the cloud services are useful because we are talking about 300GB of data (although sync amount will be small, I do not want to store anything in the cloud).

I have beta version of Bittorrent Inc's Syncapp that would do job well but I am not too sure if this program can be trusted enough.

Thanks in advance.

P.S. - FWIW, This data is in multiple folders.

You would just make sure the laptops are on the same network - either wired or wireless.

As an FYI to Bitorrent Sync, Steve Gibson looked into it on Security Now episode 402, here's a link to the transcript of the episode: https://www.grc.com/sn/sn-402.pdf

If if remember correctly, he said the security looked legit on it.
