Hooray!!! At least he isn't a hypocrit. I actually think a lot more of him now(a connection somehow?). That takes nuts the size of coconuts to say in an interview.

Beer, unlike some &quot;recreational drugs,&quot; is legal to consume if you are over the age of 21(18 in some areas)...

What young(er) hollywood stars aren't at least recreational drug users.. I mean, a good upstanding citizen like Robert Downey, Jr. would never use drugs... suuuure. That much money flowing through their hands, downtime between projects...

I pretty much assume that all those stars are recreational occasional drug users, and the ones that aren't are liars.

I don't want to make waves here, but who cares? I'm not dogging the entire post, but if someone chooses to smoke pot occasionally is it that big a deal? I agree that if Steven Hawking had been the one making the statement it would have given more cred to the occasional pot smoker community, but I think it's cool that Keanu Reeves can make a statement like that. I hope that society makes pot a non-issue soon as a result of all the publicity these people have gotten lately. Here's something that you guys can talk about, CREED started out as a Christian band, and still has deep-rooted Christian beliefs. About 50% of the band uses Heroin. (All the other horsed-out bands make great creative music, why can't creed?) Anyway, I think people should save their rants for situations that warrant their strong opinions. BTW, I think Keanu Reeves is a HORRIBLE actor, but that's another post altogether, isn't it?

so simply because beer is legal makes it ok to drink? Even though potatoes are more harmful to humans then marijuana, it is not ok to smoke it, simply due to the fact that our country has an ass backwards drug policy?

i can't ever seem to grasp this reasoning; &quot;well its legal, so beer and cigarettes must be better for me then marijuana&quot;.

I am a casual user or marijuana, and i dont &quot;need&quot; it to have fun, i just use it because it is fun. could you go your entire life without having sex? of course. Would it be as much fun though? no
do you really *need* to have seex to have fun? of course not...but i think you would have more fun if you didn't die a virgin, right? ;)

if you were to eat 10 raw potatoes, you would vomit or become very sick
if you were to smoke the same amount of marijuana you would fall asleep and wake up being glad you didnt choose to eat ten raw potatoes.
does that elaborate enough for you? =)

I'd really like to see you try to smoke an equivalent amount of pot to match the weight of 10 potatoes. If you DID in one sitting, (and don't even try to tell me you could), you wouldn't know how to SPELL potato.

From the stupidity of your comparing pot to raw potatoes, I'd say you are more than just a 'casual' user. I'd also say you're around 14? Inhaling smoke into your lungs is bad for you, period.

ah but you're not supposed to eat them raw. You are supposed to cook them. btw....at least potatoes (unlike drugs) don't make you stupid.

Like anything else...use as directed. Directions for potatoes: cook them and eat in moderation. Now what are the directions for marijuana?
