KDS Monitor Frequency Problems

The frequency is out of range when I play games such as Starcraft, making it so that I get a blank screen. Does anybody else have this problem? Anybody know hwo to fix it?

Did you use the ".inf" file that came with the monitor when you installed it?
Did it come with one?
Are you running Windows?
What version?
Is your monitor correctly identified under "system devices"?

I had this problem when I got my last monitor.
They had actually put an incorrect setting in the ".inf" file.
I had to edit the file, (using my monitor's manual for reference)
to put in the correct setting.

nope, it didnt come with an inf file. im running win98 second edition. its under Visual Sensation VS-7e in my system properties, which i beleiv is the company that made my kds monitor.

Install the INF file. Read THIS. You can download the inf from the KDS website. I also have one on my website HERE.. But I can't remember if the 7e is on that one...LOL...and I own a VS7e.

i see a vs-7..but no vs-7e. i tried the vs-7 but that didnt fix my problem

n/m its fixed. thanks. i used the vsx-7 driver. i set the refresh rate to the max, i think it was 85hz, but that didnt fix it so i set it to optimum. and now its fixed . thanks a lot
