I realize there may not be many Royals fans here but I have to share my elation anyway. It has been so long since we have had a good season and I can only pray this winning streak continues. Share in my delight of small town, no money franchise success.

um, the ownership has plenty of money (a la Pohlad). just won't spend it on the team. if you can't afford it, don't buy it.

I graduate from Kansas State University in May and I am moving back to KC. I just hope they are still winning so I can see them do it at Kauffman Stadium. Actually I will go and watch them if they are losing, too. Hell I have been doing that for 10 years now. I just like the hot dogs and chocolate malts at the K...mmmmmm.

wow 7-0 huh? are they really that good? i haven't followed them that closely so i don't really know who they've played. though i did know they were winning a bunch since i picked up macdougal for fantasy baseball. hope he/they can keep it up.

glad to hear they won. Im not a KC fan but im pulling for them to have a break out season. I love small market teams (except the Angels)

mike macdougal has been a very cheap source of saves so far. i told my friend to drop scott stewart from his fantasy team since he's no longer the closer and pick up macdougal and he has been his top closer so far. don't expect kc to go to the world series though, the a's are going!

I don't want to piss on anyones parade... but cleveland started 11-1 last season and ended up 3rd, a distant 3rd that is. Just throwing that in, I haven't seen the royals this season so i couldn't say either way.

this is freaking me out

they have already won 10% of the # of games they need to win to avoid another 100+ lost game season

its a freaking miracle

going to have to head down to the K for a game soon, looks like they are playing detroit here 18th and 19th, maybe i'll take the girls down for one of those

They were playing against the Tigers though. Winning against the Tigers isn't exactly an accomplishment. :p (I hate being a Detroit fan during baseball and football seasons.)

if they don't lose 100 games this year , that will be a big step forward

if they just break even (win 50.1%) that will be a HUGE leap forward. who gives a crap where they place in their division

if that pitching can keep doing it's thing, who knows!!!

Youngsters CAN win if they have talent. Experience is overrated (I'm a Syracuse basketball fan :) )

they won again friday...won 1-0.

hernandez pitched 7 innings of shutout ball. and macdougla got the save again. we'll see if they're for real when they play a better team but for now pretty damn exciting. haha.

they really need to find a way to hang onto beltran & sweeney or they are in for at least another half dozen years of losing teams.
