There is a file called db that I open it and delete the 4-5 things in there when I want a clean house. Seems to work for me.
Under the drive it loaded on and programs them kazaa lite then you will see the "db" folder. Open it up and delete everything in it.

There's an option in the search field to "purge searches." That clears them for me.

I think the number of shares you have should effect it as well

I think the "level" status is to weed out leetches.

i heard that the participation is measured on how much you reveiw files and i belive possibly how long you keep kazza running, not sure on the last one but positive on the first. the first kinda sucks cause i have over 100gigs of media that i share on my dsl connection and i leave the speeds wide open whenever i don't need the bandwith but i've yet to reveiw somthing so my participation wouldn't be as high. anyway the higher your participation the more priority your download requests are given, better download rates and less waiting in remote que.

The participation function is cool in that you can tell immediately when someone who's downloading from you is sharing nothing. There's a column that shows "Low(0)" without having to check manually.

well this isnt workin for me cause im sharing 6000+ files and my level is 1. and i tried that craks that makes you level 1000 or whatever and it still didnt work
