Kazaa Player Error

a friend of mind is using win 98 with the newest version of kazaa
when using it to play music
suddenly with no warning she will get a Player Error and then the music will not play in
any program in windows.

this happened with another friend of mine, but becuase we got a specific message about a missing dll (which i now
have lost to memory) it was relativly easy to fix.

has anyone had similiar problems?

any advice?

i don't know why you would use Kazaa to play music in the first place. (other than previewing it to see if you have the right song) There are much better players out there, i suggest Winamp because its easy to use and pretty customizable. Other than that, I have never gotten the error because i don't use the player often enough, but a re-install should fix the problem.
