I like it better than anything but me myself been having bad times trying to find all the good rap mp3's with good quality. You can find Mpegs, pics just about anything on there, even software so i think it balances it way out on me.

Kazaa is absolutely THE BEST file sharing program out there. You can download movies, music, pictures , software ect. It is easy to use and has a huge data base to draw from. Napster is a thing of the past!

For whatever reason, if I preview a file in Kazaa it totally messes up my codecs for good. Still haven't figured it out, I just don't use that feature

Kazaa is a temporary solution that will go the same way Napster did eventually. If you use a secondary drive for your shared files KaZaA seems to make all files on that drive available. (Any personal stuff is not safe). It slows down your whole PC for some reason but I have found it to be very stable and haven't noticed any of the bugs that come with some free programs like *cough* audio galaxy, getright, go!zilla, etc... KaZaA also limits mp3's to 128kbps, and appears to be in early stages with file management options. Other than these downfalls it's a very nice program that I like to run over night.

Morpheus rules :)

There is no spyware, and as far as I'm concerned it is a lot better than napster.

The only bad part of it is, basically you can't tell the lenth of an mp3 track, which can make it confusing when comparing all the search results..

what I love about morpheus (kazaa clone..or so what others have said) is that it can resume files and d/l from many sources, thus maximizing bandwidth.

Another Morpheus fan. It appears to be the same software as Kaza but I've typically get faster speeds for whatever reason with Morpheus

i use kazaa and have had no problems at all. although most people are too stupid to encode their mp3s any higher than 128kbps so better ones are harder to come by.

Paulson, in kazaa you can check the length of an mp3 by hovering your mouse over the filename.

I use and like Morpheus. As mentioned earlier, it will D/L from several users in order to maximize speed. It's not uncommon for me to be downloading at 200K. When I was using Napster, I was lucky if I ever saw 100K (1 out of 20).

I had Kazaa installed once, but removed it because of early run glitches.

PS. I only D/L or encode at 192kbps
