Kazaa lite's topsearch.dll reported as spyware by latest Adaware v6.0?

and when i tell adaware to delete it, kazaa lite stops working 🙁

had to restore

anyone else have this situation?

nopoe running both of them i dont get that error, maybe adaware just thinks its spyware, cause i doubt that kazaa lite has any

I got the same problem. unistalled and reinstalled, and it happened again.

Then I downloaded the latest version of kazaa lite (although I can't remember which site I got it from.. think it was kazaalite.tk) and adaware found nothing. There seem to be different sites with slightly different versions of klite - whats going on?

When I was using Kazaa Lite, I remember it had dummy DLLs in place of the ADs/spyware/etc. DLL that the real Kazaa uses. The filename may be the same, but inside it does nothing. This might be one of those...

well, my copy of adaware is old. but it had the auto-updates, and i got the latest update (last week). and that latest update found kazaa-lite's topsearch.dll as spyware.

the older data strings that adaware used didnt

go figure

Folks.. Folks... For god's sake read the damn "readme" files, that's what they're there for!!!! If you'd actually read it, you'd know that .dll is placed there in order for Kazaa to function and that Adaware WILL detected as spyware, but you should not remove it because Kazaa will not fuction without it. That file IS NOT spyware, only in official Kazaa.
