You should only download KazaaLite in order to download music that you already own because music piracy is evil and will send you to hell. 🙂

In the last two months I have not been able to find one single complete mp3 on kazaa lite....either the song is cut way short or the last 3/4 of the song is just a series of beeps and gonks.

Or the wrong song alltogether. Kazaa is for the weak/those wishing to wear a sign saying "SUE ME".

The RIAA should grow some balls and go to IRC - where return fire will hurt them more than the PR hit that suing a 12 year old girl did.

Their tactics on Kazaa are the equivalent of taking a 12 gauge shotgun loaded with birdshot into a school and firing wildly into the crowd. Trying that on IRC would be the rough equivalent of doing the same, except at an NRA heavy weapons shoot.

I'm sure its a-hell-of lot easier for them to track you on Kazaa, than IRC, also very few know about IRC so why not go after the big first.

Or maybe they just know that IRC music hubs are easy to self destruct in the event of compromise, that IRC users are very unlikely to pay a settlement in a case that they can if not win, do severe damage to the RIAA's budget by dragging it out forever, and that there's certainly no shortage of bandwidth available as return fire. The Internet would become totally dysfunctional, and it'd be all their fault.
