What does it do? Does it really "block" the ips of the RIAA? How did they figure out which IPs the RIAA were using in the first place?

How about files that are in the process of being downloaded?

Just keep them on another hard drive, partition, etc. For some things, I just burn them onto CD's and so my HD only has a few files...
