Kazaa Lite 1.72 or 2.0 ???

I haven't moved from 1.72 to 2.0 yet...

Is it worth it? Is 2.0 significantly better?

Ever since I installed 2.0, my XP (SP1) machine freezes for about 30 seconds every 5 minutes. I hate 2.0!

Yeah, 2.0 is awful. Theres nothing wrong with KL 1.72. I use it, and it works fine.

Kazaa now has a participation level thing, the higher your level, the less of a queue you have to deal with
Any client below 2.0 will have a permanent participation level of zero. 😛

yes, please do. where can i get kazaa lite 2.0? i have 1.72 and thats the only thing i can find...

You can use the Sig2Dat tools, the Kazaa Cheater program (pretty much renders the participation level obsolete), SpeedUP (which I think does a better/faster job similar to the 'Find more sources' feature.

Also, be sure to check out the Verifieds link and other goodies such as ShareMonkey.com.

This may be old news but I found that these few sites have *enrichened* my Kazaa experience.

2.0 with Speed Up on xp works awesome for me, great download speeds. The participation thing is a joke, its never the same and I don't think it does much anyways.
