it's old news (made it around the web the last days)

I am so sick about spam and spyware...and now they even start to use your (YOUR!) PCs and network resources for their own purposes !!!!!!!!!!

Did anyone ever ASK ME before installing the "B3dProjector" program? No ! This program installs quietly....i wonder why !!!!!!

This is the NEXT step beyond ordinary spam in my opinion...read the article....

I read about this over in the Distributed Computing forums. Link. That is really shady, but it is of no concern to me since I don't use file sharing programs such as Kazaa, Morpheus, etc.

<< I wonder if the KazaaLite program I got eliminated this? >>

It should've because it eliminated the Gator crap. Usually when you go to your Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs, you will see that Kazaa, Grokster, Morpheus all have this "Ad Support" thing. That's probably what's doing to spyware. Never install any program that you did not intend to download, because it's never good for you.
