Kazaa Installation Problems

When I try to run Kazaa, nothing happens. I run the app, wait and wait, and nothing ever happens. Task manager(ctrl+alt+del) shows nothing, and other programs I have which list running apps also show no signs of Kazaa. I uninstalled it, re-downloaded it, a now the installation file doesnt even do anything. For some reason, my computer does not allow me to start Kazaa or even install Kazaa....weird.

P.S. I wonder if some record company fed me a virus which blocks programs like Kazaa, because Morpheus does the EXACT same thing...and I believe they are both based on the same p2p infastructure =)
 
Perhaps its a problem with your internet settings, what virus software are you using, do you have a firewall are you using a router?
 
I use SBC Pacific Bell DSL, and I have no firewall or router in use. I used a port blocking detection software and no ports are being blocked by my provider, including the one used by Kazaa. I also do not have an antivirus program loaded.
