I'm the sure Bush haters are in high gear now and they've never let the facts get in their way before but there were a ton of problems with New Orleans proper. Blanco was absolutely worthless for starters.

Bush did say the Federal Emergency MANAGEMENT Agency efforts were unacceptable. I hope he fires the guy in charge.

Instead on sending in FEMA, he could have sent in FEMA and the troops. I am Bush/Cheney hater because of his tactics on Iraq and other countries where he doesn't know what the hell he is doing.

If he sent the troops in seeing it as a disaster, he could have saved his hide and not blaming others like he was doing yesterday/today.

The President can't just take over the National Guard. Traditionally the Governor of whatever state immediately asked the Feds for help and lets them run the show. Blanco simply could not make a decision. She froze. And when she did make a decision, (while I hate to bring partisanship into this) it really looks to me like she was a Democrat first and a Governor second.

Since I read the guys name as Kayne (and that name made sense) I stored that as the correct spelling since that's how my mind SAW the name. So no...I did not misspell the name.
