Where is the Prime95? CB I'm not surprised. 8W 6100U (2.74 score with new BIOS), 58W 6700K (9.66). But in your case its not 12W. And it seems 25W will be hit with Prime95, not 14-15W as you claimed.

I also tested with Luxmark to check Hardware.fr such tests :

Luxball CPU 23.8W

Luxball GPU 15.9W

CPU + GPU 27.8W

Power with Prime and Linpack is about 15-20% higher than with CB 11.5, with a CPU like Baytrail you would likely see no difference because there s no AVX, hence Prime/Linpack are not more pressuring than CB.

You're talking about a board. I'm talking about AMD chipsets and the historical issues they have had. Even AMD has admitted they can't create a decent chipset, hence the outsourcing.

Actually, you were talking about A88x and FM2+. I'm just telling you that the chipset is fine. The A88x-Pro is a shining example of what can be done with FM2+. It's quite good . . . definitely not trash.
