kaveri apu is good or bad?

seems not that popular, most of ppl will go with intel. any idea when they will drop the price? i don't really need the bf4 coupon
 
Bad or not is a wrong formulation. The question is, if the fit your use case.

If you want to play modern games at somewhat high resolutions and settings, these APU are just too weak on CPU and GPU side.

Also CPU wise they are a lot slower than intel based CPUs. The problem is you pay a pretty high fee for the good iGPU in them but then this iGPU is still too weak for serious gaming.
 
I wanna know how a 7850k + r7 250 ($270~) in crossfire compares to a cheap pentium and a $200 gpu... I can't see it even coming close, but It would still be interesting
