You made the statement that America rejected the Dems, unless you consider America to be your election system and NOT the people then your statement is false.

So, according to you the US is the election system? Yes or no.

America is the people. What you fail to realize is that it is the people of states, not one big mass. States with separate laws and even cultures to a degree. You ignore what America was meant to be, why our system is the way it is, for your internet forum feel good points, but not what matters.

Flake is corralled in the hearing chamber anteroom. Republicans and Democrats in there with him cycling in and out. Mood in the hearing room is described as "intense".

You ignore the utter disrespect the GOP has shown for the majority. Stuffing Kavanaugh down America's throat is just one example.

The people voted for the Dems in the senate and the Presidential election, voted for the GOP by a small margin for the house.

Thanks for admitting you were wrong.

Partisans like yourself came out against him within seconds of his being named, for no other reason than the person that named him. Don't lie that it has anything at all to do about the man.

How convenient that you ignore some of the intent as to how the FF set up the government and voting (e.g., the EC does not function as it was originally intended to function)...

Plus, those people have been dead for over 200 years. Their thoughts, which were not monolithic, were important, but by no means written in stone or always applicable to the modern era.

On one hand this is hilarious...but, on the other, it's sad as hell and a perfect example of just how intellectually depraved and morally bankrupt the Left has become. Sadly, this kind of horseshit depravity is becoming more and more normative.

Hilarious coming from the party of Trump and Pedo Roy Moore.

No, just written in the Constitution.

Duh-flect. How about the performance Kavanaugh gave us yesterday? The Clinton revenge conspiracy theory? The entitled 1% frat boy rage? The truth about his extreme partisanship?

He's exactly the right wing toady the GOP pretended he isn't all through the hearing process.

Just spitballing here but maybe the women that confronted Flake had more of an impact than many appreciated. He could still very well vote yes but he's somehow tapped the breaks on the committee vote for the moment which isn't something I would have predicted.

When will you guys stop giving these clowns the benefit of doubt? They're not moderates, they're spineless hacks.

You're only setting up yourselves for disappointment.

As I said, you vehemently opposed him the day he was named, why try to pretend it has anything to do with this hearing?
