Katie  is being generous in her comments that some questions were tough to answer off the cuff. Well, it's not like Palin was running for Vice-President of the United States of America!😛

During the campaign, Palin missed running every day. Biden missed being head of a Senate committee. Bit of a contrast there. 😉

My mom gets to be VP first before Palin.
I don't know your mom but if I could vote, I'd vote for her first

As long as your mom likes to drill, baby, drill then I have no problem with it. 😉

when your mom is a governor with an 80% approval rating, then you can complain about her not getting nominated.

Keep in mind that almost half of those who voted in Alaska voted for a Convicted Felon for Senator.

Yeah, so of people with a brain she's got like a 30%.

But really, I think it shows to me not that she's necessarily a great governor but that even a douche can be a governor and keep the people happy. Imagine if Alaska didn't have a putz in office?

Hard to have a low approval rating when you keep mailing your voters thousands of dollars in checks every year.

Alaska's got to be the easiest state to govern. Lots of money, no people.

That said, while I think she's a ditz, she does have a good record fighting corruption, and I respect her for that. But I don't think she should be given any more power than she already has.

Dont worry Barry has a similar plan in the works. We have entered the age of full entitlement.

Oh yeah, what's this plan you speak of?

"Couric pwned the heck out of Palin and played one of the key roles in preventing McCain's winning."

Key role? Please - anyone allowed to talk to her that didn't work for FAUX news would have asked questions that she would have stumbled over.

Should someone running for VP not be able to at least come up with, I don't know - how about Brown vs Board of Education - when asked to name another landmark SC case?

If being governor of Alaska is such an easy job then explain how Palin beat two former governors on her way to victory??

The sitting governor that she beat in the primary had a 20% approval rating and he was sending out checks too. Perhaps there is more to be governor than just sending out those oil checks.

The best thing to come out of the Couric interview is we won't get unqualified VP candidates for a long time.

We dodged a major bullet.

Doesn't say much for the other guy does it.

Yea we're stuck with them at the top of the winning ticket.

If being governor of Alaska is so difficult how can Palin handle it? Defend her all you like but she's proven herself an airhead.

Ask the people of Alaska, they seem pretty happy with her.

And the people who have talked with and met her would disagree with your assertion that she is an airhead. Did you watch the VP debate? The airhead held her own against Mr. 30+ years in the Senate. Palin's problem was a lack of preparation, she was not ready for the role. She is a governor, not a foreign policy expert.

Now she had time to study up on that subject and decide if she wants to try the national stage again.
