BAWAAAAHAAHAHAHAHHAAHHAH.....................now, that's funny. "We.....uhhh.... may need emergency surgery in the studio"

Serious question, where to do I go to learn about metal and it's hardness, or springiness? Is there a scale of some sort? When they say Rc48, what do they mean?

Ummm. Katanas have been in fashion for decades. You would have to be dumb to think it's some new trend.

rockwell hardness scale. 48 would be for the back hopefully, the blade itself should be harder than that, maybe a 60.

How come I wasn't able to find one of these when i was in Japan for a steal? I would love one of these displayed in my house.

If you're going to get a display sword, what does it matter if it is damascus steel, 420 steel or aluminum alloy? 😕

I'd say if you were getting a display sword, get a cheap one . . . they look the same if it's just going to sit there all day.

I never understood sword collecting. What are you going to do with it once you get it? its not like you can go spar with them and god forbid put a nick in the blade.
