Kaspersky monitor fails to load

i can't start up the kaspersky anti-virus monitor, it shows something about kav kernel loading failed.

manually starting the monitor up shows the same thing.

i tried to scan a folder and 2 messages popped up:

"object code not linked"
then
"anti-virus bases loading failed.

is there a way which i can remedy this problem without re-installing kav personal pro 4.5 ??

I had the same problem. Reinstalled and got the same problem. I would like to knwo the reason for this as well. Im using the same version as you are, if it makes any difference.
