I don't have a receipt since i didn't get it. should i take a photo and do a price check?
this was in Westwood, CA.

This is a scam, Best Buy that is. I checked it out locally (Emeryville, CA). They had 4 in stock so I grabbed a few, went to check out and the clerk, something of an angel, told me these are not what you think. She went on to explain that they are a subscription you need to purchase online, there is no key. I then spoke with the manager and got him to admit you pay Best Buy 2.99 for nothing. Zero. You need to then go online and pay Kaspersky an average of 2.99/mo and make a subscription length choice at that point. That's where they get the 2.99 figure. The worst part is that it's 2009 and you think you're getting a discount for that reason. Instead you get the shaft. I complained to the manager and he said he'd more clearly label the package to show what you're actually buying. Right.
The auction site currently has the best deal I could find. Though I find the 2010 version is showing some bloat.
