Newegg offers a $35 rebate (good for purchases until 5/30) for the item listed at $44.99, dropping the total cost after rebate to $9.99.

Using the promo code EMCXRVW67 (from website http://dealnews.com/s504/Newegg/; will work until 5/27 for Newegg subscribers) will take off $9.99, making it free after rebate.

Note that on one deals website people mentioned that Kaspersky seems to be rather strict and will mail out rebates on the 3rd month....so it seems to take a full 12 weeks to get the rebate.

I got in on this deal from Newegg when it was free with a $45 rebate. I mailed mine on Feb 1,2013 and I still have not gotten my rebate. I've been in contact with Newegg and the rebate company and it's always some excuse. I have been in constant communication with Newegg customer service and they can't do anything. The rebate company does not answer the phone but finally promised Newegg it would be mailed 2 weeks ago and I still have not gotten it. The latest delivery promise date is by June 20th. I'm not holding my breath. This is great software but don't count on getting the rebate any time soon if ever. I know rebates take a long time but 5 months and no rebate is a bit over the top. Just my experience with this rebate maybe you will not have this problem. Oh and for the record I wrote a negative review about this product topic at Newegg and they wouldn't print it. So apparently these reviews on Newegg are not exactly on the up and up if they censor the bad ones.

I did this years ago and never received a rebate. Definitely warrants caution.

I bought Kaspersky 3-pack from Newegg last December, and got my rebate in early February. Before then, also bought it from Fry's, and got the rebate in about 1.5-2 months or so.

I'm looking at the security suite @the Egg and I don't see a rebate form? It seems like a similar deal with the anti-virus software.
