Ha ha! I'm sitting here on hold with my son's school - yep, it's a curse.

Since sept. started I've spent more time in one or the other of the school offices than I have at work 🙁 .

Advice: put on a suit, don't try to be friendly - be businesslike - and remember, ALWAYS, that you pay your taxes and therefore YOU ARE THEIR BOSS. And you are evaluating them this very minute.

Sure brings back a lot of memories from growing up, though.

Yup, don't take crap from them. My son is in 3rd grade and his principal likes to call parents for every minor offence like talking too loud in the lunch line. I've had many arguments with that b!tch. Likely, she's retiring at the end of the school year.

I put my mom and dad through hell while I was growing up and my mom always said " becareful or UR son/daughter will trun out like U " ..... got a 7 year old and I am due in principals office @ 11:00 AM ...... he spat on a girl that was bugging him .... still dread being in the principals office 🙁

Atta kid! I would usually throw dirt on them. But spit, that's great! You just can't teach that kind of thing. It's in the genes...

If my kids were anything like I was (I got expelled from pre-school), adoption at the age of 10+ is going to be necessary.

We're adopting a 25 year-old who has already started a career and is on his/her own...

Much easier... 😀
