Karate Kid Finally Re_released on DVD all three for $27!

Didn't Mr. Miyagi die (in RL) or something? Pretty good classic 80s movies.
Edit: My sincere apologies, he is still alive.

interesting biographical piece

I didn't know about that spinal tuberculosus thing, that's a really amazing "survival" story, I'm concinved it was for a reason.

Review

Finally, the original Karate Kid in OAR (Original Aspect Ratio)! 😀 It's a shame you have to buy the other 3 films in order to get the original, though.

i can live with buying the original trilogy but buying the 4th is horrendous.

The 4th one was rediculous. I mean, having the main character as the girl? It just doesn't fit the tradition of the first two movies.

You're thinking of the 4th one. The third one still has Ralph Macchio in it. Granted it's almost as bad as the one with the girl.

Is Ralph Macchio still around? I haven't noticed him in any movies beside Karate Kid, he must be at least 30 old man now and still not a famous name after KK? Sorry, I'm not a movie freak!

Yea he is still around...i saw him in the local burger king he makes one hell of a mean whopper with cheese 😛

Is it? I thought he was mostly doing Broadway these days.

As for the quality of the movies, the last two bite, but the second one is great if only for the fact that the first 5-10 minutes finish the first movie. (And the rest isn't great, but it's ok.)

Wow , I did not know he was 43!

As far as important films go, The Outsiders is it. Regarless though the Karate Kid and My Cousin Vinny are great movies that will be enjoyed for people of all ages as long as they are available on DVD and TV.

Did he even take any Karate Lessons for the movie. Man was it bad acting, No ones really buyin these are they??

these movies (Except the 4th) bring back memories of my childhood.. we are OLD! and so is ralph machio..
from the DVD reviews looks like this DVD is pretty good.. except only Dolby 2.0?? wtf come on now.. they couldve done better than that.. a year or 2 later they're going to release some oehter special edition with better soundtracks..
