Does this and the other recent close calls Texas has had (see Nebraska a few weeks ago) in any way diminish Ohio State in your eyes? I think they look dominating but if you look at their SoS it is severely lacking. Texas is the only non-conference team they played that was any kind of challenge.

I think OSU and Michigan are the clear best teams in the nation. However, there's a ton of parity in NCAA football today. It is hard to judge a team based on earlier performances in the season, or even a struggle vs. a team that other teams blew out.

I just have no way to tell man. That's why I hate the fact that they may play each other twice this year. They are just beating up on the same teams in the same conference that must be weak this year other than those two teams since I have yet to see either one of them even be challenged. (Could have missed a week or two on that point)

I think this season could have been a good playoff group. Mix and match and see who comes out on top :D.

Two night road games against, at the time, ranked oponents (UT & Iowa). This is big, very big.

Finalists or semi-finalists in almost every award category (Butkus, Thorpe, etc.)

Oh yeah, your runaway Heisman leader Troy Smith. The man is a human highlight reel. We can talk about how the Heisman competition is thin this year but when there was good competition the only one who had a chance was Peterson and he was trailing Troy when he got hurt. Most importantly, Troy doesn't lose to the team from the state up north.

#1 defense in points allowed per game (7 point something) and scoring defense.

Probably the deepest team at wide receiver in the country.

So yeah, they're dominating. And with senior day coming this Sat. expect something special )
