Who cares if he is a citizen or not? I'd rather have an assimilated immigrant non-citizen as President than some unassimilated angry white male supremacist citizen.

For once, I agree with cybrsage. I live in the middle of the Deep South "Bible Belt", a.k.a. "Republican Jesusland Paradise" and even we think that what Kansas is attempting to do is stupid.

Kansas is NOT a southern state.

What I like is that his mind is like a steel trap and was easily able to pick out the little known fact that Kansas isn't a Southern state and then announce it publicly to his redounding prestige and glory.

Why would you have a poor image of folk who simply reflect the environment they were born in. Backward uncultured ignorant communities have backward uncultured and ignorant people living in them, just as Neanderthal culture was Neanderthal. You take any one of those hicks from the nest and raise them in oh say NYC and you will get a completely different being. So remember, the best of the south raised where you and I were, would likely be more advanced than you or I.

Personally, I think it'd be a great way for Repubs to further disgrace & discredit themselves, so have at it.

They might as well tape a plastic bag around their own political necks, sit back in the recliner, dream on until the end.

Kansas is quickly devolving into a last place state like the rest of the South tho. Can it take the crown from Mississippi though? That is the question.

Well, there must be a few reasonable folks living in Kansas too? What a coincidence that most of them are Democrats and independents and hey, I'm more than willing to concede that there are a smidgin's worth of well informed and reasonable Repubs living there too. I mean, without the reasonable folks keeping the whacko fundies, supremacists, Fox-bots, and Limbaugh lovers in check, Kansas would have seceded from the union the day Obama won the presidency, no? :D

Not a single birther alive knows a damn thing about birth certificates, which is the only reason (along with general ignorance) that birtherism persists.

It is true that Kansas' electoral votes were never going to Obama anyway, but that doesn't mean we should ignore attempts to keep him off the ballot. Who knows, the next time it happens to some future candidate it might be in a swing state.

Thank you for the compliment. I almost feel bad having to say your mind is like s steel sieve...you let all the truth filter out and only keep that which keeps you enslaved to your darkness. :(

Oh please please do, because if Kansas idiots remove Obama's name from the printed Kansas ballot, the only remaining alternative will be to discard all Kansas votes and their electorial college votes from the 11/2012 general election totals.

Sure there are some reasonable people there, but the state of Kansas has been ruined by religious whackos. Consider that because of the religious whackos, only one abortion clinic now exists in the state because of the religious whackos that are in office who were voted in by other religious whackos. Kansas is where Dr. Tiller was murdered in a church.

Is this allowed as well? I thought states were allowed to pass laws that set eligibility requirements.

The people upset about obama not being put on the ballot are hypocrites, where were they when Ron Paul and his delegates were being removed?
