^^^ I despise the 'C' family as much or more than the 'T' family.

That probably speaks to your gullibility on how the GOP frames things and people. They had decades to demonize Hillary and did so unabated because we all thought we were dealing with an honest party. Hell, even the whole abortion vs right to life debate has been framed through Republican lenses. Almost no one is “for” abortions but a majority of people are for a woman’s right to body autonomy but it’s almost never framed that way. How many other things have been framed through Republican lenses? The Iraq war? Patriot or terrorist sympathizers. They’ve done the same with Israel and the Palestinians. Health care? Socialism vs free market. The list goes on and on and you’ve indoctrinated into it whether you like it or not.

ump's plan is explicitly to reignite inflation which Americans famously love and will sure enjoy another much higher round of.

Has anyone in his small group of advisors ever told the syphilitic orange menace that countries that export DO NOT pay the tariffs? It's such a simple thing to understand.

From your link.

"Trump also has repeatedly claimed that foreign companies — not Americans — pay such import taxes. “The countries will pay,” he insisted this month during an interview with John Micklethwait of Bloomberg News at the Economic Club of Chicago.
In fact, American importers pay all tariffs to the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency at the time their products enter the country."

I mean....that's just Hinchcliff. It's what he does. He's an insult comic. I don't mind the guy at all, but deciding that he would be a good get for the Trump Nazi rally at MSG is just hilariously misguided. Of course he's going to do his routine. And of course it's going to be stapled to Trump's forehead.

I'm wondering if Tony is kinda thinking that he's doing work for the Dems? (not serious--most of those comics tend to like Trump, simply because he is entertaining to them. ...which is why we should never trust the opinions of comics about, well, anything. Just laugh when they are talented)
i like seth meyers and jon stewart on trump, dont think they like him, but they find plenty funny

*1 handed pecking, had hand surgery today*

this is really something... jon cares

I'm telling you, the whole point of this is to set up a 'it's obvious democrats stole the election' play. If you make it so 'obvious' that you were going to win, it looks absurd when you lose.

I think some of it is that and some of it their closed info ecosystem which is prone to generate mass delusions. Like I don't know what's gonna happen in the election but I am pretty sure it is not likely to be Trump getting 350some EVs.

This is exactly the reason. All these last minute R leaning outlier polls showing Trump up in certain states is just laying the frame work for their plan to overthrow the election because of alleged fraud.

Everytime I see a quote from fucking idiots that want to vote for Trump because grocery prices are out of control, I keep hearing 8 bucks for eggs.

I'm getting pasture raised non-organic eggs for $4.99 at fucking whole foods. Just regular eggs would be cheaper, because pasture raised actually means something. At the most $3.99.

Fucking people are assholes.

And if you're eating enough eggs where that puts a huge dent in your budget, get your cholesterol checked.

I live in So Cal, one of the most expensive places to live in the country. There's lying, and then there's MAGA lying. I do see $8 eggs if I go out of my way to find the most expensive shit. I also see lots of MAGAs claiming their rent has went up 400% under Bidenomics.

Their rent went up 400% and they still have somewhere to live? LOL. I've seen 400% from a horde of them. If your rent went up that much and you're not homeless, you're doing fantastic. If my rent went up 400% I'd be homeless instantly lol. As for the $8 eggs, I'd have to go to Pavilions and buy the eggs only people who have fancy electric gates around their homes with their initials in it buy. I suspect they're too dumb to understand 400% inflation isn't a thing. Still not too sure how that number seems to one a lot run with. 50% would piss me off, and for some shit be believable. I laugh when I see "me and my wife now work 3 jobs thanks to Biden, and we're still barely surviving" Sorry, but I'm not believing nonsense like that.

A bunch of those same MAGAs also prove election fraud by saying their dead mother voted for Biden and she was a life long Republican. I asked 5 and not one could explain how they know that their dead mom voted and who she voted for. I'm not saying there isn't .000001% voter fraud out there, but if some person somehow gets ahold of my dead mothers info and somehow uses her to vote for Trump, I wouldn't have a clue.

I understand outrage if there's shit to be mad about, but making up shit about who your dead parent voted for and the price of eggs, then acting mad about it, why? None of them are spending $8 on eggs, they found the most expensive organic, cage free ones and are using that as proof. And chances are when Trump was in office those same eggs weren't under $7. Shit is more expensive, but it's far from what they claim.

The only $8 eggs are the fucking Vital farms organic pasture raised. These people are lying.
surprise, surprise they are (mostly) voting for Trump.

Question is how fast will the courts handle the unavoidable challenge. Will they complete their work by the time congress needs to certify? Will they find some odd interpretation of it? Will they allow one party to drag their feet and slow the process?
Not to say that shit won't hit the fan (it probably will)*, but IIRC Trump got bitch slapped hard by ALL the courts in late 2020.
But I understand your point, we're kinda fucked if it goes all the way up to SCROTUS.

* The chances of the presidential election being called within a day seem extremely low. So expect the GQP to do everything, and then some, to overturn the election if they've lost.

I do think there will be a chunk more white male turnout for Trump this election but I think the wave of women and other minority demographics will overwhelm them - also I think college educated whites are really going to show up as well for Harris. I am unsure how much of an effect GenZ will have but what it does have will be for Harris, and that will be driven by young women of GenZ for sure.

I rarely donate to politics (I should volunteer instead), but I sent a few bucks to Ysabel Jurado for L.A. City Council D14. ActBlue was a bit annoying; it redirected away from the confirmation page immediately to some survey.

Maybe I should chip in to Dan Osborn for Senate, Nebraska?
