Very well put. I'm proud of Arnie for this. At least to me it is apparent that he wrote his own thoughts without parsing them through some handlers to see how they would affect any possible future career objectives.

I just wish he would have put a 6th grade reading level tweet out too.

Lets face it.. you have to simplify a lot of stuff for people to get it or it just flies over their heads.

'i need an authoritarian to protect me from the authoritarians' is literally what moron conservatives have been crowing about for years now.
And when local MAGA election officials refuse to certify election results / vote counts that they do not like?
You seem unaware of what 2020 prepared them to do in 2024 and beyond.

Constitution's already laid out what to do in that situation, just sayin'.

Question is how fast will the courts handle the unavoidable challenge. Will they complete their work by the time congress needs to certify? Will they find some odd interpretation of it? Will they allow one party to drag their feet and slow the process?

What the constitution says won’t matter much in that situation IMO. It’s a political/military power struggle at that point.

I would bet a lot of money that at least one place tries out not certifying just to see how much traction they can get.

The other irony is that the 2nd amendment talk about tyranny they’ve been spewing for decades actually has them protecting the tyrants. Unless someone here wants to take a stab at explaining how billionaires are for the people, lol

What drives their decision making irt the court challenges is that their highest priority is to protect Trump from being litigated any more than he has and to grease the skids for Trump's ascension to the throne that the conservative SCOTUS majority has meticulously custom built for his fat ass so he can feel comfortable wreaking havoc on the biggest threat to his rule: the educated middle class.

Not sure if any of this is legally possible but 2020 was just an amateur trial run. They will be prepared this time.

So will the Democrats - they are preparing for all contingencies - it's well-known that they have an army of lawyers ready for all their nonsense, and for Trump to declare victory early, and I'm sure they've thought about the violence potential as well.

to me the biggest worry are the law enforcement and military who are despicable trash MAGA as well, what will they do if they are giving orders to take care of the traitors on MAGA?

Yep. The law explicitly states you cant do this, but because conservatives want to do whatever the fuck they want, they'll just ignore that minor technicality.
At least Virginia still allows them to re-register for this election, unlike other states that were planning on continuing last minute illegal purges without proper notice

The 2a always holds true, until the last firearm hits the ground.

I know, that's one of the most impressive things that Russian disinfo has done, turn the 2a supporters against American interests.
