Yeah none of that was a surprise to the campaign. Rallies are going to be highly scripted.

I think we "the STOOPID libruls" still think oh he can't be that bad.. he didn't mean.. he doesn't actually want to do that.. no we're not actually going to have troops coming after us.. no they don't really want to exterminate.. that's too crazy

And yet we're totally fine with genocide in a different place as long as it's NIMBY.

They are YIMBY genociders who want to massacre everyone who doesn't fit their code of acceptable MAGA in Trumpistan..

Tony Hinchcliffe really is a pile of garbage himself.. this was not just a one-off joke, he is 100% team retar... maga.

Just a hunch, but I think he's playing a character when he does stand up. If you watch Kill Tony, the way he acts and the shit he says, there's no way he's not gay. He even says he's gay, but he's married to a woman and according to people who know him he's not gay in the least. He's a shock comedian with heavy racial humor, but some of his best friends are non whites. I'm not defending him or his jokes, but I think his ultra racist spiel is all an act to get him attention.

Exactly. They could put the energy and headlines into spotlighting the insanity. Instead, it's theflyingpig "everyone knows this" treatment, and the crazy is glossed over.
I lost my naïve faith in mainstream media during the Free Speech Movement in Berkeley in the fall of 1964, which is exactly where and when Kamala Harris was born. Oct. 20, 1964. She was born, I was attending every single demonstration and getting an education that wasn't available in the classrooms and lecture halls. I found out that the newspapers pandered to the public's wanting to think the students were just troublemakers. So did Ronald Reagan, it's how he got elected governor of California.

The New York Times isn't doing a great job in this election (the have some real assholes publishing opinion pieces) but some of the articles are hitting the nail squarely on the head. I do subscribe at a low low price ($5/mo.). I resist any "upgrades." Wapo wants me but I won't. If I hit them in Chrome a subscription nag comes up instantly, and I open the URL in Brave Browser and no nag because Brave doesn't by default use Java.

That was me I think. He's supposedly told a few people stuff along these lines. I would agree that it has been a sizable mistake, maybe his biggest.
Well, he (Garland) appointed Jack Smith to prosecute the insurrection. Was that an error? A special prosecutor wouldn't seem to be a bad idea. Smith has gone after Trump, but the justice system hasn't been working. The trial in FL with Cannon was a sham, but that's partly because the choice of Cannon was by lottery and by bad fortune Cannon fell to the task, which was a debacle completely. Merchand's not sentencing Trump before the election was his decision because he wanted to avoid the appearance of election meddling, IIRC. And the DOJ had nothing to do with that, it's New York jurisdiction.

What do you people expect Garland to have done that he hasn't? What exactly?

Blither blather.

He has a point-maybe I should consider making a strong and principled decision about my Amazon Prime account.

Caving in under vague threats from a petulant man-child is certainly not a principled decision.

Anderson Cooper uncomfortable in the face of facts by Charlamagne

True that.

Why is MSM taking the bait and talking about Kamala's blackness and not about the threat of fascism at the end of a barrel.

Goes appear "fair" to both sides as if they are equally valid rather than call trump the fascist that he is.

In that sense, he may be no different from any (or all?) of the maga public figures you see on Fox and elsewhere. They make great money spouting their bullshit, I who knows if they actually believe it or not. Basically, they are actors and if someone threw tons of money at a bunch of people here it would be interesting to see which of us would take a shot at being the next Tucker Carlson :)

Makes no difference at all though. They are still saying it, are still just as responsible.

Just like Trump is responsible for what is said at one of his rallies. His campaign is either too stupid to do even minimal vetting, or they knew what they were getting into and said let's go...pick one.

Rogan says that Harris has been invited on the show but there are disagreements about where and how long the appearance should be. Rogan wants to do it in Austin for 2-3 hours, Harris wants him to come to her and do an hour.

I think if she does it that she goes to him but the duration gets cut to maybe 1.5-2 hours. She's headed out west on the 31st and could make the stop in Austin.

Yeah that would explain why Trump's not bothering going to AZ.

Trump was just in Tempe on Thursday (I know, I was stuck in traffic because the 51 was closed down for miles). And he's coming back later on this week.

She's supposed to be in PHX on Thursday.

Yeah, noted above. That's probably the window if it happens. I think she should and the timing is right as far as when people are going to hear it (no more than a week before the election). Tuned out voters are only now starting to pay attention/wake up to the fact that there is an election. So I think you want to get to them as close to E day as possible.
